To Market To Market!
We're back! Well, we've been back but we've finally recovered enough to recap our adventure! :) Market is always a blast and the Atlanta Gift Market this year was an extra special treat. You'll never believe it (unless of course you've worked in retail!) but we did a ton of shopping for holiday goodies... including Christmas! Now we can't wait to deck the halls! So please don't blame us if we start putting up trees in August (kidding... kind of!)!
With over 3,000 showrooms available to shop, we knew we needed a strategy. When it comes to planning and strategizing, Lauren is our girl! It's way too easy to get a bit distracted by all the pretty things, so Lauren's job is to ensure we stay on track and don't lose sight of the mission! Bless her!
First things first! We stopped by some of our favorite vendors to see what's new! Face to face designs is a handmade, family run makery, right down the road in coastal Georgia! We've been carrying Face to Face in store since day one! Beautiful coastal wood boards, pillows and home decor with a coastal + Scandinavian flair. We can't get enough and we're thrilled to share the new goodies we scooped up for the store!
Speaking of art.... we've got you covered! So many gorgeous pieces will be hitting the floor soon! Art is always a hit or miss at market but this year we are thrilled to report that we hit big!
We know y'all love a good straw tote just as much as we do! We couldn't resist the leather strap picnic bag! :)
We were on the hunt for Christmas gifts and stumbled upon one of our favorites! Corkcicle drinkware = the perfect stocking stuffer! And we couldn't walk away without snapping a pic of these stylish lunchboxes they launched!
Our favorite market trend? All of the white and wood! From lighting to picture frames and everything in between... white is here to stay! Mixed with warm wood textures and beautiful old-school finishes that feel both natural and new!
And to make our trip to market even more memorable, we bumped into our favorite comedian! Yes, she's just as hilarious in person as she is online!
It was one heck of a trip and we can't wait to show y'all what's coming soon!
