Set The Table: Happy (almost) Fall!
It may not feel like it here on Amelia Island but the official first day of fall is next week! No worries - there are still PLENTY of beach days left! ;)
I'm not busting out the pumpkins and pie scented candles just yet, but I couldn't resist setting the table! To slowly transition my breakfast table from summer to fall I pulled in navy and french blues combined with warmer shades of tan and brown!
Pro tip: Invest in a set of neutral dishware that can easily transition from season to season!
I started the table-setting project with three pillows that I couldn't resist! Our French Knot Embroidery Pillow, our Sonjamb Straw Pillow, and our bestselling Navy Cornelia Pillow that just screams "fall!"
From there, I pulled in my favorite antelope chargers (these just hit the floor - hurry in to scoop them up!), tortoise bar glasses, gold-rimmed dishware, wood salt & pepper shakers and navy napkins with a gold ring to tie it all together! In place of a traditional centerpiece, I opted for a couple of oversized ceramic artichokes!
When the clock strikes 12 on October 1, the centerpiece will be easy as pie (pumpkin pie of course!) to swap out for fall leaves and pumpkins! And then gourds and turkeys for Thanksgiving!
