Fall Favorites: Paint Colors
We're all about the perfect shade of white (which is why it took us hours of deliberation and a re-do when picking our perfect white for the store walls). But, with the seasons changing - and the "it" colors trending rich and dark - we're ready to incorporate deeper, warmer hues on walls, cabinets, trim - you name it! We've rounded up our favorites just for you below - but first, a few tips on going "dark":

- Darker, saturated tones work best in rooms with a defined start and end - using one for an open concept can overwhelm the space. Think bedrooms, offices, powder bathrooms, etc.
- Skip the accent wall - go all the way! For a dramatic touch, paint the ceilings and trim in the same color, varying paint finish depending on if you're painting wall or trim. It's a myth that dark paint colors make the room feel smaller, so if you love the color, go for it!
- One trend that we're loving lately: colored cabinets - we're talking deep greens and rich navy's. Feel it's too much of a commitment? Paint the island! In store, we combined classic white shaker cabinets with a soft black island.
